Gautam Chebrolu

Cofounder/Chief Technology Officer

 

Gautam is the cofounder and CTO of Pilleve. Inspired by a familial history of substance abuse, he understands that this is a problem that affects everyone and can happen to anyone.

 

With interests in various creative arts from audio and video production to writing and performance arts, human-centered design philosophies, and sustainable service, he hopes to hone in on developing truly unique experiences and redesign medical technologies to make them much more affordable and accessible and thus more effective.

 

Raised in Columbus, GA at the intersection of many different values and traditions, Gautam believes in the power and importance of building communities and leading from behind. He holds a dual-degree in Biomedical and Electrical/Computer Engineering and Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Duke University and was recently featured on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list under the Social Entrepreneurship category.

 

For his dedication to work and service on campus, Gautam was given the Charles Rowe Vail Memorial Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching and gave the keynote address for the final banquet for Resident Assistants. He has also been recognized for other initiatives like working to launch an umbrella-sharing service on campus and was interviewed on Sony TV’s Keys to Kismat and spoke at the Ivy Innovation Conference at Princeton University.
